Spain won the European Championship 1-0 vs Germany yesterday. This is a huge deal (everywhere else in the world, except the US). As you can see, I represented yesterday with my Spain shirt. I actually got this shirt in 2006 when I watched Spain play in the World Cup in Germany.
Impress your friends by telling them that Spanish hottie, Fernando Torres, scored the only goal in the game. I mean, he is not horrible to look at. I guess I will post a picture;)
I had a great weekend. I painted pottery, rode my bike, went running, played some soccer, watched some soccer, went to a wedding shower, ran in a 10k, went to Celtic Crossing to get bloody mary's and watch my dad play some music, hung out with friends, hung out with Dave, etc...And now it is Monday. I get to do this all over again! What???? I get a whole week off???? Hell ya!

I hear ya about soccer. I need to come watch some games with you guys - I don't get it at my house. I have always L-O-V-E-D soccer players and thought they were the hottest athletes and not stupid like basketball players (sorry if I offend anyone!), but they are ALWAYS way too short for me!!!! Oh well, like you said, nice to look at.....
We searched every channel trying to find the European cup to watch this weekend, but no luck. All my husband got was the highlights.
I keep track of the World Cup with my wedding anniversary (it'll be on next in 2010). It was on right after our wedding and my brother-in-law came from Serbia for the wedding, and stayed for 2 weeks after with us. Everyday while I was home with him he watched the games. Every night when Milan got home from work, they watched the re-runs. What a honeymoon!
